Controversial

The recent controversy involving the United Nations organization UNRWA tasked with aiding Palestinians, specifically its alleged involvement in a terrorist attack on October 7th alongside Hamas, where thousands civilians were murdered and hundreds taken hostage, raises critical questions. For more on this see http://www.unwatch.org. It’s perplexing how the Palestinian population could have allowed this and the construction of extensive underground tunnels, utilizing locations like children’s homes and religious or medical buildings as cover. This situation mirrors historical events, such as when some Jews collaborated with Roman or Greek invaders, yet others successfully rebelled, leading to celebrations like Hanukkah or the rebellion lead by Bar Kochba after the Romans demolished our temple. The current circumstances in Gaza and the West Bank, however, are distinctly different. There’s ongoing uncertainty about how Palestinians, presumed to be innocent, will manage to establish their state. While there are doubts about the existence of innocent Palestinians, I choose to believe they do exist.
