Mr. President of Colombia
Gustavo Petro Urrego

Dear Sir,

In these past few months, during which you began governing your country Colombia while I began to suffer (indirectly for now) the consequences of the massacre carried out by the terrorist movement Hamas in the State of Israel on October 7, I have been faced with questions for which I still have no answers. Do you find yourself in a similar situation?

I am writing to you for several reasons, which I list here: a) although you do not hold any of the many titles that have been associated with your name, it seems you have studied many subjects without completing a degree. Perhaps together we can find some answers.

b) I cannot ask those whom you have chosen as allies, such as the current president of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Da Silva, and others who were once presidents of their countries but are no longer because no one votes for them or because they have become murderous dictators under the guise of elected officials through fraudulent elections.

My first question is why you attack Israel so much, a country defending itself from not just one, but several terrorist organizations: Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, Houthis. Yet, I have not seen you express anger towards others like Putin (Russia), who attacked Ukraine, annexing territories and resulting in about 500,000 human deaths and millions displaced in two years; Erdogan (Turkey), who is annihilating the Kurdish population both within Turkey and in neighboring countries; Syria, where its ruler has killed half a million and displaced millions to other countries; Armenia and Azerbaijan, where hundreds of thousands have died and more have been displaced due to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict; China, murdering and confining the Uighur Muslim population in "reeducation" camps, which are actually concentration camps; the deaths in civil wars or from famine in several African countries, where the dead number in the millions.

The list could go on, including countries where Iran extends its influence, such as Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, and not to mention the most dangerous entity near you: Hezbollah, supported by Iranian ayatollahs with money, weapons, and ideology, with an army in Venezuela spreading throughout South America.

Surprisingly, I have not seen you summon ambassadors from these countries involved in terrible wars, only expressing concern when Israel attacked Gaza. But it is clear, evident, proven, and declared that Israel does not attack a country (Gaza is not one) or a people (it does not attack the Palestinians) but targets a fundamentalist Islamic terrorist organization named Hamas, in retaliation for the barbaric attack of October 7, which you are surely aware of, and for the liberation of hostages.

The second question I pose is: what leads you to side with Islamic extremism represented by Hamas, but not only these terrorists, but also the rest of the Palestinians who attack Israel, and radical Muslims such as the rulers of Iran, Syria, Turkey, and terrorists like the Houthis of Yemen, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah?

Upon some research, I find:

- you are not Muslim, you are between Catholic and atheist;
- you were a guerrilla, in the M-19 under the alias of Aureliano, but later pursued political and diplomatic paths, supposedly despising armed struggle;
- you were tortured and imprisoned, so one can imagine what the over 100 hostages in the tunnels or catacombs of Gaza are going through at the hands of the multiple murderer and psychopath Yahya Sinwar;
- before becoming president, you created the Secretary of Women and later promoted equal numbers of men and women in official positions and candidate lists;
- you accepted the formation of the LGBTI Citizenship Center;
- from various positions, you lifted half a million residents out of poverty, reduced child mortality, strengthened public education, changed the minimum vital water supply, attempted to eliminate bullfighting, and reopened a hospital complex.

In summary, you have done everything opposite to what Muslims, especially radicals and terrorists, do.

Why, then, are you on the opposite side of Simón Bolívar?
What motivates you, Mr. Petro?

Is it Simón Bolívar's thought? NO
Is it García Márquez's thought? NO
Is it Christian thought? NO Is it ignorance? NO

You are supporting terrorists.
You are supporting murderers who kill their own people. It's filmed; you can see them killing to seize humanitarian aid, and there you see women and children dying.
You are supporting those who demean women to the point where they are objects, not people, to them.
You are supporting those who hang homosexuals.
You are supporting those who educate children to be martyrs, not to live.
You are supporting those who use their own children and women as human shields.

I ask you then, Mr. Petro: why are you on the wrong side? What motivates you, if none of what I mentioned?

I AM LEFT WITH ONLY TWO ANSWERS, ENLIGHTEN ME, MR. GUSTAVO PETRO: ARE YOU DOING THIS FOR MONEY RECEIVED FROM IRAN, OR IS IT SIMPLY OUT OF JUDEOPHOBIA/ANTISEMITISM? IS THERE ANOTHER REASON THAT I AM UNAWARE OF?

Will I receive a response from you? I await it eagerly.

Mauricio Aliskevicius.
