Last Sunday I officiated a wedding at the Criterion, in the center of London, in Piccadilly Circus. The bride arrived and was welcomed by a Scottish Bagpipe band. She then entered the venue and was received by a quartet of the Belsize Square Professional Choir under the baton of Maestro Michael Cayton at the piano. I then sang (listen to a sample
) and together with Rabbi Steven Katz, a very kind, charismatic and friendly person, did the ceremony .
Everybody a the venue was helpful starting with the French staff at the Criterion who were attentive to my needs, I also met a team of English professionals, toastmaster and photographer, who I can recommend and hope to work with in future events,
On my way back to fetch the car in a nearby street. Very gently Policemen advised me to wait until the Duchess of Cambridge passed by. An afternoon in London, what a city !! We are so much enjoying being here.
